- Description
- The USDA Forest Service intends to award a stewardship contract for furnishing all labor, supervision, equipment and transportation required to complete service work such as timber removal (commercial thinning), non-commercial thinning, slash treatment road obliteration and associated work to treat approximately 976 acres. Utilizable/Merchantable material shall be exchanged to offset the cost for the services to be performed. Project Location: lies within the northwestern side of the Mormon Lake Ranger District of the Coconino National Forest (CNF). Project area is approximately 10 miles south of Flagstaff, Arizona, between Interstate 17 and State Highway 89A. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) System. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be published at www.fedbizopps.gov on February 2, 2006 and will state the offer due date. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 10:00 am local time, March 1, 2006, at the Mormon Lake Ranger District Office, 4373 S. Lake Mary Road, Flagstaff, AZ 86001
