- Description: The Dept of Justice, Justice Management Division, Library Staff, intends procure on a sole source basis with Thomson Gale in Farmington Hills, MI, a copy of the "U.S. Supreme Court Records and Briefs from 1832-1978" in digital format, and internet access to the same database hosted at the vendor's site. This procurement is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy agency requirements. Services under this synopsis must comply with the following Section 508 Accessibility Standards: 1194.22 Web-based Intranet and Internet Information and Applications, 1194.31 Functional performance criteria, and 1194.41 Information, documentation, and support (see http://www.section508.gov) This contractor has been found to be the only known source to provide this period of the records, a copy of the database in digital format, and internet access to the same database hosted at the vendor site. However, written quotes may be submitted in writing stating ability to provide the database in digital format and a subscription via Internet to that same database. These quotes should be faxed (202-514-2785), emailed to daire.r.mccabe@usdoj.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. Quotations are due on February 9, 2006, by 5:00 P.M. EST. Oral quotations will not be accepted.
