- Eielson AFB, AK has a requirement for rental of one (1) John Deere 450CLC excavator, year 2001 or newer. Rental period will be 30 consecutive days beginning 13 February 2006 through 14 March 2006. Rental will be equipped with heated cab and 4 yard bucket. Contractor will be responsible for all maintenance to include oil changes and breakdowns at no additional cost to the government. Contractor will repair rental within 24 hours or provide a replacement rental of same size and HP within the same 24 hour period. At time of delivery contractor will furnish 5 gallons of engine oil, 5 gallons of hydraulic oil, 12 tubes of greese, and 5 gallons of antifreeze at no additional cost to the government. Excavator will be delivered to and picked up from Ft. Greely, Alaska by the contractor. Delivery to Ft. Greely will be no later than 12 P.M. (Noon) on 13 February 2006. The request for quotation number is FA5004-06-T-0029 and can be downloaded at www.fedbizopps.gov on or after 2 February 2006. This action is open to small business concerns. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 532412, with a business size standard of $6,500,000. This solicitation will be issued electronically. It will be available only via the Federal Business Opportunities web site (www.fedbizopps.gov). Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. No paper copies will be furnished. Potential offerors should register at www.fedbizopps.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. No bidders mailing list will be maintained.
