- Description
- The work consists of the contractor furnishing all labor, material, equipment, supervision, work and facilities necessary to perform all operations, in strict accordance with specifications and applicable drawings. The following is a summary of work for Repair, Maintain and Construct Base Pavements IDIQ, located at Eielson AFB, AK. The project shall include, but is not limited to: 1. Maintain, repair, and construct base airfield pavement and surfaces. This work includes the use of Asphaltic Cement and Portland Cement Concrete type pavements for projects as specified in the individual Task Orders. 2. Repair, replacement and minor construction of base pavements, including sidewalks, roads, parking lots and other paved surfaces. This work includes the use of Asphaltic Cement and Portland Cement Concrete type pavements for projects as specified in the individual Task Orders. 3. Remove petroleum contaminated soils from project sites and deliver to an approved soil recovery facility. 4. Screen and crush stockpiled Government provided asphalt for use in future projects. 5. Provide work in accordance with specifications and the drawings. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price contract for a total of three (3) possible, one (1) base year and two (2) option year periods. Actual work requests will be issued on Task Orders based off line item unit prices. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 237310 with a size standard of $28.5 million. The magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This acquisition is being solicited under full and open competition conditions IAW FAR 19.10, Small Business Competetivness Demonstration Program. THIS SOLICITATION AND ANY AMENDMENTS ARE PAPERLESS AND WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE INTERNET ONLY. **NOTE: All contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration (CCR) program in order to receive a contract award from any DOD activity. Contractors may access the Internet site at: http://www.ccr.gov to register and/or obtain information about the CCR program.** The solicitation will be available on or about 21 February 2003. A solicitation mailing list will not be maintained for this procurement, all solicitation documents will be available electronically and it is the responsibility of the offeror to register for notification of updates to this procurement via this web site.
