Description

The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items or services necessary to ensure that movement of Government furniture and appliances at Yokota Air Base, Japan. The contractor shall pick-up/deliver Government furniture and appliances to/from the residence when scheduled by the Furnishings Management Office. The performance area will be on-base, Yokota Air Base, and off-base. The period of performance is anticipated to be for one-year basic period with four (4) one-year options, for a total five (5) years. The anticipated performance start date is 1 Apr 06. Offerors shall propose a transportation rate that includes but is not limited to tolls, licenses, costs of overtime, holiday work, or for operations during stormy and or inclement weather. Award will be made to the offeror whose offer represents the best value to the U.S. Government considering the evaluation factors stated in the solicitation. NOTE: THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. THE SUCCESSFUL OFFER MUST BE LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO PERFORM THE SERVICE IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN.
