- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District is issuing this Sources Sought Announcement to firms capable of improving the Microwave signal level in the MTC to Sta.160 via passive repeater link at the water tank tower from -52.6 dbm (presen t level) to - 43 dbm. RSL (Receiver Signal Level), also MTC to Sta. 260 via passive repeater link at the water tank tower from -58.8 dbm (present level) to -38.2 dbm. RSL. The work consists of taking down existing parabolic antenna (dual feed horn dish) at the MTC transmitting tower and install one 10 ft. (Gabriel SR10 Parabolic Antenna) and one 12 ft. (Gabriel SR12 Parabolic Antenna) with heated Radome / thermostats; creati ng individual feeds to Sta. 160 and Sta. 260; replacing Passive reflector on the water tank tower with two 8 ft (Gabriel SR8 Parabolic Antenna) with heated radomes / thermostats, improving the passive antenna repeater path performance from MTC - Sta. 260 v ia water tower; replacing existing 4 ft. antenna at Sta. 260 with 10 ft. (Gabriel SR10 Parabolic Antenna) with heated radome / thermostat, improving systems gain. Electrical hookup for Radome heaters will be done government personnel. The work is to perfor med at the Cape Cod Canal, Buzzards Bay, MA. Interested parties should submit any descriptive literature demonstrating their ability to perform this work, whether the firm is a large or a small business, woman owned, disadvantaged business concern or servi ce disabled veteran owned firm. This is not a request to be placed on a solicitation mailing list nor is it a Request for Quotations.
