The size standard for this code is $31,000,000. TYPE OF AWARD: This acquisition is proceeding as a Competitive Section 8(a) IFB. Only those cont ractors whos approved Business Plan is on file with the SBA Fresno, Sacramento or San Francisco District Offices may participate. ALL OTHER FIRMS ARE DEEMED INELIGIBLE TO SUBMIT OFFERS. JOB DESCRIPTION: This project will construct a modern, freestanding dental clinic facility using steel and reinforced concrete construction. This facility will provide sixteen (16) dental treatment rooms (DTRs). Additionally, this project includes specialized systems and areas/equipment inherent to med ical treatment facilities to include: dental laboratory, digital dental radiology, central sterilization room, oral surgery, oral evacuation, dental compressed air, and a nurse call system. A sloping standing seam metal roof will also be required. The facility shall be constructed in accordance with the installations compatibility standards for exterior architectural features, must comply with the Unified Criteria (UFC) 4-510-01, DoD Minimum Antiterrorism Standards for Buildings UFC 4-010-01, and th e Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards/Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (UFAS/ADAAG). Outside supporting facilities include site work, utilities, and parking. All BIDS are due not later than 15 March 2006/1:00 pm PST, at which time bid opening will occur.
