- Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), China Lake, CA intends to procure repair and maintenance support for Advanced Range Data System (ARDS) pods on an other-than-competitive basis from DRS Training and Control Systems, Fort Walton Beach, FL. Anticipated contract type: time and materials. Anticipated period of performance: one base year and two one-year options. Anticipated date of issuance of solicitation: February 21, 2006. Principle place of performance: Edwards AFB, CA. Travel may be required to DOD Tri-Service Training and Test Ranges. Anticipated award date: April 10, 2006. The ARDS pods are a tri-service tracking system containing components designed and developed by DRS. All responsible sources may submit a quotation or proposal which will be considered by the agency. Sources other than DRS shall provide qualifications and history of repairing and maintaining the components of the ARDS pods.
