Description

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound (FISC,PS) has a requirement to procure the Repair of two Cooling Coils in support of the USS Helena. This procurement is for the repair of 12.5 Sq. Ft. DWJ Cooling Coils per Marlo Drawing 72H156. The cooling coils will be repaired/rebuilt shipboard within the existing unit. Contractor is to fabricate any necessary fins, tubes, headers, return bends, and header boxes at vendor facility and ship to San Diego, CA where work is to be performed onboard the USS Helena. This commercial firm fixed priced procurement under FAR parts 12 and 13 is intended to be negotiated on a sole source basis with Marlo Coils 6060 Highway PP, High Ridge, MO 63049-2909 per FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The referenced solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability for the offeror to access the posted documents.
