Description
IMPORTANT NOTICE: DFARS 252.204-7004 ?Required Central Contractor Registration? applies to all solicitations issued on / or after 06-01-98. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror / quoter INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. Please ensure compliance with this regulation when submitting your quote. FISC San Diego is announcing its intent to issue a Combine Synopsis/Request for Quote (RFQ), for Base Year and Four One Year Options. Contractor to provide uniforms and laundry services for Rental of Flame Retardant Coveralls, Shirts and Pants. Rental/Lease and Cleaning Service for Utilities High Voltage Electrical Personnel. The Shirts and Pants must be constructed from 8 cal/cm2 flame retardant material. Shirts must be long Sleeve. Embroidered Name Tag patch over the left breast pocket on the shirts and coveralls, Individuals first Name only. Color: Dark Blue for the Shirts, Pants and Coveralls. Pants must be Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) style with standard pockets, thigh pockets and double thickness material on the knees. Coveralls must be constructed from 11 cal/cm2 flame retardant material. This requirement is for 28 Employees. Eleven (11) pairs of Shirts and pants for each Employee, and Two (2) pair of Coveralls for each Employee. Vendor to provide Uniforms and Laundry services for Coveralls, Pants and Shirts. Vendor to provide a Pick-up Delivery Services for 130 pair of Pants, 130 Shirts and 26 pair of Coveralls on a weekly basis. Sizing of individuals will be done at the beginning of the contract. All alteration will be new. Employees will be Added/Dropped by Contractor Modification. Uniforms that are worn, faded, stained will be replaced with new or slightly used uniforms. For Missing or Lost Uniforms, the Contractor will notify the POC immediately and have receipt Signed for valid or missing items. Requirements is for Navy Public Works Center San Diego, California. A copy of the Solicitation is required for complete details of contract prior to quoting. All eligible sources must obtain a copy of the mention solicitation referenced below. This announcement is published as a Total Small Business Small Business Set-Aside action per FAR 52.219-1 and 52.219-6; (this means you must be a small business, quoting the product of a small-business manufacturer). This is a synopsis for commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR 13 and the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation number RFQ N00244-06-T-0266 applies; an electronic copy of the RFQ can be accessed at http://www.neco.navy.mil. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-04 and DFAR Change Notices effective through 01/29/02. The standard industrial code is 7218 and North American industry Classification System code is (NAICS) 812332. This requirement is for a fixed priced contract . The business size standard is $10.5. The government intends to make a single award to the responsible offeror whose offer is the most advantageous to the government considering price and price-related factors. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items applies. Addendum to FAR 52.212-1, Paragraph (b)(5): Offers shall provide an express warranty which at a minimum shall be the same warranty terms, including offers of extended warranties, offered to the general public. Express warranties shall be included in the contract. Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items applies as well as the following addendum clauses: FAR 219-1, Small Business Program Representations; FAR 52.219-6, Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside; FAR 52.211-5, Material Requirements. Commercial Items, applies with paragraph (a) completed as follows: Award will be made to the offeror that meets the solicitation?s minimum criteria for technical acceptability at the lowest price. (option 1) To be determined technically acceptable, the offeror must furnish product literature that demonstrates the products offered meet all requirements stated in the above reference written solicitation. In addition NAVSUP 5252.215-9402, Notice to Prospective Offerors, and 5252.215-9403, Additional Evaluation Factors ? Contractor Evaluation System, Red / Yellow / Green Program applies. In addition, if you are quoting on a comparable commercial item, product literature must be included. All FAR certifications and representations specified above must also accompany your quote.
