- The purpose of this modification is to notify all potential parties interested in participating in the Force Readiness Support Services procurement that the Defense Information Systems Agency has decided, due to serious time constraints, to compete this requirement as a small business set-aside under its NexGen suite of indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contracts. This requirement has been determined to be within the scope of the NexGen small business contracts and will be handled in accordance with FAR Subpart 16.5 procedures. Potential parties interested in obtaining more information regarding the NexGen small business contracts may consult the following Internet address: http://www.ditco.disa.mil/hq/contracts/nexgensbchar.asp. There are five (5) small businesses participating in these NexGen IDIQ contracts. These contractors are: AC Technologies; Artel; Femme Comp, Inc.; FGM Inc.; and Pragmatics, Inc. Offerors interested in subcontracting opportunities, teaming arrangements, etc. should contact these prime contractors directly. It is anticipated a Request for Proposal will be issued to the NexGen small business contractors on or about 1 March 2006 with a goal of task order award on or about 12 May 2006.
