Description

The purpose of this Sources Sought is to obtain corporate capability statements from firms that are capable of meeting a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Farm Service Agency (FSA) need for procurement expertise. This request is for firms that can provide specialized procurement experts to assist with FSA procurement requirements. The duties would involve preparing and issuing solicitations and contracts and the full cycle of acquisitions work, from market research and pre-solicitation planning through closeout subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and supplemental policies of the USDA.. The NAIC code for this effort is 541990. This announcement is a request for information only and is not a request for proposal or announcement of a solicitation. This request should not be construed as a commitment by the government to issue an order or otherwise pay for this information solicited. However, the information provided in response to this announcement may result in the Government developing a Request for Proposal. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested firms must submit their capability statements by e-mail not later than 10 business days after publication of this notice to the Attention: Martha A.
