- Description
- The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), requires a Firm Fixed Price contract to provide labor, material and equipment to install a security fence and gates at the NIST Boulder Labs located at 325 Broadway, Boulder, CO 80305. There are approximately 783 linear feet combining the fence and gates. There are two 4 foot gates, three 8 foot gates and two 12 foot gates required. The completion of the job shall be within thirty days after the contract is awarded. Interested sources may request a copy of the bid package either by faxed or e-mailed requests. Telephone requests will NOT be honored. The request should include the company name, point of contact, mailing address and physical address, phone number, fax number, e-mail address and DUNS number. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about February 21, 2006. Questions must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer by email (preferred) or fax. The solicitation may be requested by mail at 325 Broadway, MC3, Boulder, CO 80305; email at doris.p.turner@noaa.gov; or fax on 303 497 3163. Anticipated award date is March 15, 2006. The estimated cost for the proposed contract is between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business and is being executed under FAR Part 13 and Part 36. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238990 with a small business size standard of $12.0 million. The Department of Commerce requires that all contractors doing business with the Government be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) before contract award.
