- Keyboard/Video/Mouse over Internet Protocol Switches The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC) Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has a requirement for Avocent Keyboard/Video/Mouse over Internet Protocol (KVMoIP) Switches, which requires the purchase of various quantities of 14 line items consisting of switches, management software, user licenses for session connections, PS/2 keyboard & mouse to CAT 5e interfaces, USB 2.0 to CAT 5e interfaces, VGA to CAT 5e interfaces, serial terminal to CAT 5e interfaces and power supplies used for serial interfaces in support of the FAA Systems Management Facility. A market survey was conducted by the requiring organization, which supported the FAA's determination to solicit and negotiate only with Avocent authorized dealers, in accordance with AMS Policy 3.2.2.4. Offers will only be accepted from the Avocent original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and resellers of Avocent switches. Award will be made to the lowest responsive/responsible offer. Request for Quotation (RFQ) is attached to this announcement. Responses shall be submitted electronically no later than 2:30 pm central standard time February 10, 2006. Any amendment(s) issued to this RFQ will be published on this website. Therefore, it is the offerors responsibility to visit this website frequently for updates on this procurement.
