Description

The work consists of treating noxious weeds along designated BLM controlled roads and right-of-ways by application of herbicide on 800 acres. Some hand pulling/grubbing of noxious weeds will be required near stream banks. Target Species are Scotch broom (95%), French broom (4%), and Gorse (1%). Some roads may contain windthrow trees across the road which Contractor would be required to cut out of the way. There are an estimated 200 windthrow trees blocking access to the treatment sites. Project site is located in the Umpqua Resource Area, Coos Bay District, Oregon. This solicitation includes an option that allows for increased quantities not to exceed fifty percent (50%) of the total contract price. This solicitation will be posted electronically. Paper copies are no longer available. Estimated issue date is February 21, 2006. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered. This solicitation is set aside for small business concerns. See Numbered Note(s): 1.
