- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City (NSWC PC) intends to issue a purchase order to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGS), 1070 Seminole Trail, Charlottesville, VA. 22901-2891 for the procurement of two (2) Radar Electronic Unit part number 65800RARR, 0ne (1) each Radar Assembly, part number 65800RAVC-3 and one (1) each Turning Unit, part number 65825/LAR/X for LCAC craft. These units are required to support the upcoming deployment of the LCAC vessels and recent failures have identified the requirement for additional spare monitors. This item is only available from NGS Sperry Marine. The Radar Electronic Unit originally manufactured by NGS Sperry Marine has been installed on numerous LCAC crafts via the craft alteration process. These Radar Electronic Units are integrated into and form a part of the LCAC navigation hardware. Any other Radar Electronic Unit would require extensive engineering, testing and qualification costs, and duplicate the logistic train established for the LCACs. NGS Sperry Marine, as the OEM, is the only known source for this equipment. Award will be based on the written quotation. These units will be delivered to the Naval Support Activity - Panama City, Receiving Officer, Building 100, 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407-7018. The anticipated award date will be on or about February 16, 2006. NAICS Code 334511 applies. SBA Size Standard is 750 employees. FSC is 2040
