- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, Seal Beach Division, intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract with Harris RF Corporation, Rochester, NY, for the acquisition of replacement tactical radio systems, system components, spares kits, component upgrades. Anticipate a three-year ordering period. Items to be acquired include the following: Multiband Manpack Radio, AN/PRC-117F, (Max Qty 50 EA); SSK for AN/PRC-1117F (Max Qty 10 EA); HF Manpack, R/T w/Type 1, AN/PRC-150C (Max Qty 80 EA); HF Transceiver, RT-1694D(P)(C)(U)(Max Qty 100 EA); UHF SATCOM Antenna Set, RF-3080-AT001 (Max Qty 50 EA); Antenna Coupler, RF-382A-15 (Max Qty 75 EA); 400 Watt HF Base Station Adapter, RF-5800H-B003 (Max Qty 50 EA) and other spares and components. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. This notice is for information only. It is neither a request for proposals nor a solicitation for offers. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334220 with a size standard of 750 employees. Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. Response to this synopsis is not required.
