- ALL REQUESTS SHALL BE ON YOUR COMPANY LETTERHEAD WITH NAME, ADDRESS, TELEPHONE NUMBER, FAX NUMBER, POINT OF CONTACT, AND SOLICITATION NUMBER; PLEASE NO EMAILS. The Naval Special Warfare Command, Detachment Annapolis has a requirement for the following: To lease two (2) Manned Undersea Vehicle (MUV) Nautronix Acoustic System Hydro acoustic Information Link (NAS-HAIL) Prototype Systems per Scope of Work. This equipment is manufactured by Nautronix MariPro Inc. This requirement shall be a base year starting on date of award for one (1) year, plus a one (1) year option if the customer chooses to exercise which shall start 1 day after the base year ends for one year. Clin 0001 ? Base Year ? date of award for one (1) year. 12 Months. Clin 0002 ? Lease Option ? One (1) day after base year ends for one year. 12 Months. Clin 0003 ? Shipping. 1 Lot. The manufacturer is this equipment is manufactured by Nautronix MariPro Inc., 1522 Cook Place, Goleta CA 93117. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis shall be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice or received as a result of a notice of intent shall normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. NO ORAL REQUEST OR QUESTIONS SHALL BE HONORED. ALL FORMS SHALL BE COMPLETELY FILLED OUT AND RETURNED WITH BID. FAILURE TO DO SO SHALL DEEM BID TO BE UNACCEPTABLE AND SHALL BE REJECTED WITHOUT NOTICE. This is a small business set-aside. See note 22.
