- NAICS Code 238110. Project: Parking Structure Repair, Federal Building, Aberdeen, South Dakota. Project No.: RSD15716. Scope of Work: The project includes, but may not be limited to the following features: Concrete repairs, new sealant joint installation, removal and replacement of existing expansion joint with new materials, and traffic coating over the suspended deck. The Prime Contractor or Subcontractor installing the work shall meet the following pre-qualifications: (1). The contractor must have been in business for at least five years. (2). The contractor must provide evidence to demonstrate use of similar products/construction methods as those shown in the solicitation package. (3). The contractor must have been an installer with at least five years experience using the products/construction methods as stated in Item #2 above. (4). The contractor must provide documentation to verify performance of three projects similar in nature to this project. (5). The contractor must provide evidence to confirm roadway construction repair experience. (6). The contractor's price proposal must include using the products and methods specified in the above referenced project. (7). Company and personnel qualifications must be provided with the proposal. (8). The contractor must furnish product descriptions and material data sheets for each product proposed for use. This acquisition is being solicited as Request for Proposal (RFP) and is set aside for competition restricted to service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns. All interested eligible parties are encouraged to submit a proposal. The estimated construction cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The Solicitation Issue Date will be on or about 01/30/06. The date of Receipt of Proposals will be on or about 03/02/06. The date for the Site Visit and/or Pre-Proposal Conference will be on or about 02/09/06. Award is expected to take place on or about 03/15/06. Construction start date is expected to be one day after receipt of Notice to Proceed with completion NLT 240 days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. All responsible sources will be considered. All requests must include the Solicitation No. and project title annotated above; the offeror's full company name, mailing address, phone number, fax number, and point of contact. Only written requests will be honored. In addition, a non-disclosure form will need to be completed prior to GSA forwarding the drawings to the contractor. All requests must be received by COB 02/24/06, unless the solicitation date is extended. MODIFICATION: The Solicitation Issue Date is extended to 02/03/06. The Date of Receipt of Proposals is extended to 03/06/06.
