Description

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) seeks to modify an existing contract, No. PBGC01-CT-04-0685 with Booz Allen & Hamilton (BAH) who is currently developing the Case Administration System (CAS) redesign. This work is the continuation of services to provide re-engineering/developing services, sustaining engineering or maintenance services, and operational and production support services for a suite of approximately eight PBGC custom-designed software applications. There?s a need to increase the estimated level of effort which will meet management?s requirements and schedule for this project. The increased level of effort will allow for additional personnel to: (1) expedite the development of the CAS redesign. The software development will utilize the FileNet P8 business process management (BPM) product to redesign the current CAS suite of applications into one BPM tool. The current CAS suite of applications will be redesigned into one application ? Case Management System (CMS); and (2) enhance the User Provisioning Tool (UPT) to incorporate functionality and improve performance. The UPT is a security tool developed to leverage the Service Oriented Architecture at PBGC to control access to applications and plan information. It is in the best interest of the PBGC for the current provider to complete this work by modifying the existing contract which will ensure continuity of work and accuracy in the execution. This is not a request for proposal. See Note 22.
