Description: This procurement is for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) type contract for a base year period and two option years. Provide at contractors facility, all labor, materials, and equipment to perform sustainment support for the f ollowing type armored vehicles: M9ACE, M88A1, M99A2 FAASV and M109A6 Paladin. Each vehicle will have five CLINS consisting of: (a) total vehicle disassembly; (b) chasis welding and machining; (c) vehicle assembly and final inspection; (d) vehicle suba ssembly component overhaul; and (e) total vehicle overhaul, in strict accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and all applicable Depot MaintenanceWork Requirements (DMWRs), National Maintenance Work Requirements (NMWRs), Technical Manuals (TMs), Techn ical Data Packages (TDPs) and/or other work directives prescribed. Complete SOW will be included in the Solicitation package. Draft solicitation will be issued on 20 January 2005. A pre-proposal conference is scheduled for 25 January 2005 at 0800 CST, A nniston Army Depot, Anniston, Alabama, Directorate of Contracting, Building 221. It is highly recommended that contractors seriously interested in submitting a proposal attend the pre-proposal conference. This procurement is un-restricted and is authorized for competiti ve procedures for both private and public-sector entities.
