Provide an inventory for the Pilot House Systems on the Ship?s Control Panel, including the Steering (including autopilot), Rudder, Engine Control, Deck Lights, Remote Alarm Systems, and Miscellaneous Systems. Provide a list of controls and indications for the above systems. 3. Identify Equipment that is currently integrated into the Raytheon MK2 RADAR and Electronic Chart Display Information System (ECDIS), such as Doppler speed log, GPS NMEA inputs, gyro compass inputs. Perform an analysis of the equipment to establish the minimum navigation regulatory requirements for safety of navigation and determine if the appropriate inputs are being provided to the equipment. 6. Identify by instrument measurement, the signal type/protocol for all existing equipment. Identify the compatibly requirements necessary to support the integration matrix. Provide one line drawings that illustrate the minimum navigation requirements. Provide an overlay of the base line configuration of the pilot house electronics equipment. 7. Identify existing equipment that exceeds the minimum navigation requirements. The Contractor shall accomplish the following to facilitate preparing the Notional Block Wiring Diagram: 1. Provide a preliminary prime navigation integration plan using ABS NIBS/NBLES to the maximum extent possible as guidance ? this plan should illustrate the ideal configuration of the navigation equipment. The plan shall identify equipment by generic nomenclature and not by make (e.g., XYZ company Mod 1.2.3.4 Radar should read Surface Search Radar X-Band or 9 GHz). These recommendations will be used as a baseline for future bridge navigation requirements to assist MSC with future life extension plans to 2025 and beyond. Go to the website www.procurement.msc.navy.mil/procurement/contract/RFPSearchEntry.jsp to search for the solicitation, which will be available by 07 February 2006.
