Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is being issued as a Request for Quote under solicitation number M33130SU00098. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-08. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 813110 and the small business size standard is $6,000,000. The government intends to award a firm fixed price contract, as a result of the quotes received. The Regional Contracting Office, Southwest, Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton has a requirement for the following service. A Catholic Deacon to provide service to military families aboard Camp Pendleton. Contractor to provide the following : 1. Plans the annual curriculum, course outlines, calendar, and program design for its related activities. Publicizes special religious events base-wide throughout the year. Develops, maintains and secures resource material and makes them available to teacher, assistants and students. 2. Oversees the coordination of Roman Catholic Sunday services scheduling of extraordinary ministers such as special ministers of Holy Communion, lectors, and acolytes.. 3. Provides guidance and direction for curriculum selection for all teaching materials, teacher training, management and administration of comprehensive religious education for all faith groups. Programs include enrichment and others that are directed toward the single Marines and Sailors, those contemplating marriage, those married and their families, and other identified target groups. 4. Recruits and trains religious education teachers, teacher aides and volunteers. Provides continuing professional training for participants involved in the religious education programs. Plans and arranges training seminars and opportunities for development. Oversees individual assigned to work in the religious education programs. 5. Plans and coordinates special religious and denominational celebrations in consultation with the various denominational chaplains or their representative. Plans and schedules classes or informational sessions throughout the year for those who participates in the carious religious education programs. 6. Evaluated the program and advises all base chaplains concerning challenges, problems, and concerns. Keeps abreast of new trends a design development in the field of religious education, through study, workshops and professional conferences. Plans and submits a recommended yearly budget for the religious education program. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the firm that presents the best value to the Government. The evaluation factors are past performance, technical capability, and price.. Award is to be on an all or none basis.
