- This is a testing-only notice. Please ignore. UPDATE - 02 Nov 05 - A Point of Contact List has been posted identifying the participants to Virtual Industry Day (18 Oct 05). This information includes the companies that attended VID, a POC for each company, and company size. ************************************************************* UPDATE - 28 Oct 05 - Revision to DRFP and VID Q&A from 18 Oct 05The draft RFP dated 28 Oct 05 incorporates clean-up from the Questions asked at the VID on 18 Oct; updates the Performance Work Statement (PWS) with an added SCOPE; adds a CDRL List (DIDs will be loaded around 10 Nov); adds new clauses to Sec H; adds PWS as Sec J attachments for Transition Task, CY06 Function D, Project Churchill, and Multi-Level Security under Functin E; Atch 7A and 7B for on-Site WPAFB labor and Off-Site Labor respectively; page counts have been changed in Sec L, para L075, para 6.2.2. for the Mission Capability volume; Sec L Atchs have been updated; Sec L and M have been updated. Look for updates to the PIXS library in the next three weeks forupdated information on the Performance Work Statement, the CDRL/DIDs, etc. *************************************************************** UPDATE - 7 Oct 05 – Draft RFP and Virtual Industry Day Procedures Draft RFP Upload The draft Request for Proposal (RFP) loaded to the XR-SIMAF library below is an 85% solution which has been loaded for insights needed for the Virtual Industry Day being held at 1330 EST on 18 Oct 05. Contract writting system problems prevented loading a complete RFP document. A word version of the Draft RFP FA8626-05-R-2077 has been loaded to the PIXs library below. This word version does not contain the section J attachments which have been loaded separately to the library. Plans are to update the draft RFP on 14 October 2005 to flesh out several aspects including: H0XX – OCI Mitigation Plan Acceptability Criteria; H081 – Provide goals for Small Business participation; Section I Reference Clauses – some fill-ins need filled in; Sec J – Exhibit A - add initial CDRL Data Item Description (DID) package; Sec J – Attachment 1 – update Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) Sections 1 -4 and Sec 6 to eliminate redundancy and streamline the requirements; NOTE: PWS Section 5 describes the five functions, A through E,and is reasonably complete, however Sections 1 – 4 and Section 6 need updating to streamline and add the Service Delivery Summary (SDS)etc.; Sec L075 – Update paragraphs 7.3.2; 7.3.3; 7.3.4; for instructions on the Technical Expertise and Systems Engineering Mission Capability sub-factors; add the tailored L-8 Labor Cost/Price spreadsheet; Sec M – Function E evaluation criteria need added; remaining Sec M is good SIMAF Library Listing of planned contents will be added to PIXS library Virtual Industry Day (VID) The Virtual Industry Day (VID) Meet-Me phone number will be provided to interested firms who register with the SIMAF POC Ms. Stiles at 937-904-7205, Margaret.stiles@wpafb.af.mil . Written questions provided in advance of the VID will have the most complete answers provided. Verbal questions will be accepted during the VID but may be deferred if answers are not immediately available. Firms will be identified during the VID only by a letter identifying their company at time of registration, e.g. Company A, Company B, etc., actual company names will not be used. Questions on the draft RFP for Virtual Industry Day should be e-mailed to the buyer, Theresa hay, at Theresa.hay@wpafb.af.mil with a copy to the Program manager, Vince Lewis at Vincent.lewis@wpafb.af.mil . Detailed questions on format and minor issues are not the purpose of the VID. Questions that address omissions and significant issues or areas of confusion are desired. XR-SIMAF Library The XR-SIMAF Library is not available until 19 Oct 05 between the hours of 0900 and 1500 EST. Library appointments must be made thru the SIMAF POC, Ms. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (28-OCT-2005).
