Description
The U.S. Department of State, Office of Acquisitions Management (A/LM/AQM), on behalf of the Bureau of Human Resources has developed a need for long-term temporary housing for Department of State employees assigned to training at The National Foreign Affairs Training Center (NFATC), Foreign Service Institute, Arlington, VA 22204 and Warrenton Training Center, U.S. Department of the Army, National Communications System, Warrenton, Virginia 20188. Anticipated lodging minimum requirements: For NAFTC the Department of State anticipates the contractor to provide a minimum of 100 rooms per night, 365 days per year (36,500 room nights per year) available in 50 one-bedroom and 50 two-bedroom units. For the Warrenton Training Center, the Department anticipates 20 room nights for the base year to be increased by this number for each additional option year with availability of one/two bedroom units to be determined at a later date. The distance of area for contract housing shall be no more than 30 minutes commute time during normal rush hour to the training sites. In addition, the contractor shall provide bus service to and from the hotel and training sites and metro stations. Anticipate award for the base year plus 4 additional one-year options. The government anticipates and Indefinite delivery/Indefinite quantity contract with at least one award or by group for Arlington, VA and/or Warrenton, VA area. All offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award This is not a Request For Proposal. The estimated issue date for the Request for Proposal is on or about February 21, 2006 and a modification shall be issued to this announcement requesting a proposal from all interested parties.
