Description

The Special Operations Directorate (AMCOM) proposes to procure, on a sole source basis, skin panel assemblies, Part Number 791SK005-1 (ASSY, Left Side Skin  Cockpit). This proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. The intended source is The Boeing Company, Route 291 and Stewart Avenue, Ridley Park, Pennyslvania, 19078-1099. The Boeing Company is the Airframe designer for the aircraft, and as such, possesses the technical data, tools, and expertise to perform the work required to deliver the product. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is n ot a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within thirty days after date of publication of this synopsis. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whe ther to conduct a competitive procurement. The anticipated award date is 23 March 2006. Delivery is required to begin no later than 31 July 2006. Requests for this solicitation should be submitted in writing to the above address or electronically to lbe lcher@aatd.eustis.army.mil.
