Description

This is a proposed acquisition for the purchase of 115 dental handpieces: 11.5 MM HIGH SPEED HANDPIECES WITH A MAX OPERATING SPEED OF 350,000RPM OPERATES ON 45PSI AND USED FUSED (SOLID) GLASS ROD OPTICS FOR ILLUMINATION HANDPIECE MUST ULTILIZE SOME METHOD OF BLOCKING PARTICLES FROM PROCEDURES FROM ENTERING THE HEAD OF THE HANDPIECE. MUST FLOW AT LEAST 80MLOF WATER PER MINUTE TO COOL THE CUTTING SURFACE. Mfr: A-DEC Part Num: TA-98LW or equal and 75 dental handpeice connectors: CONNECTOR THAT WILL CONNECT ABOVE HANDPIECE TO EXISTING EQUIPMENT IN DENTAL CLINIC MUST UTILIZE 17 WATTS OF POWER, TRIPLE SPRAY COOLING METHOD, BE LIGHT WEIGHT (~2OZ), AND HAVE A NOICE CEILING OF 57DBA. Mfr: A-DEC Part Num: RA-25 or equal. The applicable NACIS code is 339114. Anticipated issue date of solicitation is Feb 7, 2006 available on http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract as a result of the solicitation and no split awards will be made. Offers will be evaluated on price.
