Description
This synopsis is published as a Sources Sought of qualified 8(a) contractors to perform Hazardous Toxic and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) Remediation. Responses must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. CST, February 23, 2006. NO AWARDS WILL BE MADE FROM THE RESPONSES TO THIS SYNOPSIS. Only 8(a) businesses should respond. The small business size standard for NAICS 562211 is $11,500,000 average annual gross revenue. The tasks to be performed are Construction: Capability/experience in contaminated materi al excavation and remedial/removal activities, waste contamination removal, demolition, underground storage tank removals, water control/containment management, air monitoring and sampling, site access control and security, and site restoration. Field Eng ineering: Capability/experience in conducting final status surveys that comply with the Multi-Agency Radiation Survey and Site Investigation Manual (MARSSIM), Remedial Action Summary reports, HTRW Construction Quality Management, and developing and impleme nting health and safety programs and plans for an HTRW site operations mandated by OSHA. Management Services: Staffing and their related qualifications, managing transportation and/or disposal to off-site facilities, scheduling, cost controls, status repo rting, and bonding capabilities. Respondents are requested to submit a Capability Statement that exhibits clear and convincing evidence of your firms capabilities/experiences to perform the listed tasks. The capability statement is not to exceed 3 pages . The statement must provide a summary of relevant experience and knowledge that addresses the scope of the task. Respondents must submit a capability statement, which addresses each task for which they believe they are qualified. This sources sought notice is for market research purposes in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. It does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. All interested parties will be required to respond to the resul tant solicitation separately from their response to this sources sought.
