Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to issue a non-competitive contract to Sydnor Hydro, Inc. for the removal, transport and repair of two (2) Couch - 48" 50,000 GPM vertical propeller pumps. The pumps are located at separate sites in Manteo, North Carolina area. Services include checking/replacing bearings and seals, evaluate, clean, repair, reassemble, repaint, reinstallation, restart and adjustments. Sydnor Hydro Inc is a subsidiary of the pump installer and is knowledgeable of and has the blueprints from the initial installation.THIS NOTICE IS NEITHER A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS NOR A SOLICITATION FOR OFFERS. A determination not to compete this acquisition has been made pursuant to 41U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by 6.302-1(b)(1)(i). This requirement has been justified and approved in accordance with FAR 6.303 and FAR 6.304.
