- Description
- The Eastern Facilities Service Office of the U. S. Postal Service intends to award a fixed-price contract for a roof replacement project at the Southeastern PA Processing and Distribution Center, located at 1000 West Valley Road in Southeastern. The work shall include completely removing the existing gravel faced built up roof and insulation, replacing any damaged roof decking as required, and the installation of a new fully adhered roofing system and insulation. The work will be done in accordance with USPS approved specifications and drawings. The estimated cost range is $1,000,000 to $1,200,000. Construction completion will be within 270 calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed. The contractor must be licensed for this type of work in the state of Pennsylvania. The Postal Service will select the offeror that provides the best value, taking into consideration technical and cost-related factors. Participation with minority and woman-owned businesses is encouraged. A PRE-PROPOSAL MEETING WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY, MARCH 7, 2006, AT 10:00 A.M. AT THE SITE.
