Description

This is a modification to the original synopsis for Solicitation Number DG1350-05-CN-1082. This modification clarifies the intention of the announcement. There will be no solicitation released as a result of this synopsis. This synopsis announces a change in scope of a contract currently being performed. This contract is set to expire in a few months and will be re-competed under a separate announcement. There is a requirement to provide an overlap in services between the current contractor and the future contractor to guarantee validation and maintain integrity of the data collection and processing during the transition. This synopsis announces the extension of services of the current contractor for this purpose. The solicitation for the new contract will be made available to this Government wide point of entry under Solicitation DG1350-06-RP-0029 on or about Tuesday, 21 February 2006. A pre-solicitation notice for that solicitation can currently be found at this Government wide point of entry under that number. This modification extends the processing and reporting services for the third quarter data to 28 February 2007. The original end date was 31 December 2006, but it has been determined that lag-time for reporting will be closer to five, rather than three months.
