- THIS IS ISSUED UNDER UNUSUAL AND COMPELLING URGENCY. The U.S. Army, Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, has a requirement for support in program and project management with the Southern Louisiana Hurricane Protection and Restoration effort. T his requirement is for Program and Project Management services in support of hurricane recovery efforts in South Louisiana. Description of work includes but is not limited to support in meeting preparation, technical support, post-meeting assignments, doc ument and report development, documentation management, development of project schedules with updates and analysis, development of budget documents, analysis of budget and expenditure data, quality control checks, program guidance interpretation and integr ation, and assessments and recommendations to resolve issues affecting execution. The Corps intends to award a three year Firm-Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract. This will be a Best Value procurement process. The award wil l be based on an assessment of the evaluation results as a whole. Request for proposal will be available on or about 14 February 2006. Proposal due date is 24 February 2006.
