Description

The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) intends to procure the maintenance services for a TAP CAPLC Systems (s/n J00MCP026N-1); TAP QTOF I & II; TAP MASSLYNX Software; and TAP ProteinLynx Global Server2 (s/n W3HNUQ376M) from Waters Corporation, 34 Maple Street, Milford, MA 01757. To the best of the Government?s knowledge, they are the sole factory trained service organization that is capable of servicing the equipment stated above. This does not serve as a sole source notification and all interested vendors possessing the capabilities to fulfill the requirement under this solicitation may request a full copy of the Request for Quotation (RFQ) package in writing to the Contracts Office prior to the closing date of this notice. In compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.27 ?(15), All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the Agency. This solicitation is not a Small Business Set-Aside. It is anticipated that the RFQ NIH-NIDDK-06-679 will be available fifteen (15) days after the publication date of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due ten (10) days after the release of the RFQ. The anticipated award date is March 15, 2006. All interested parties to this solicitation may request a copy of the RFQ package in writing to the attention of Ms. Patricia Haun at National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases 6707 Democracy Blvd., Room 774C, Bethesda, Maryland 20817 or via FAX (301) 480-4226. All requests must contain offerors name, address, telephone number and fax number. Email addresses are encouraged but not mandatory.
