Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes ar e being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Small Businesses need to be located in the El Paso commuting area. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The Department of the Army (DA) Police requires various DA Civilian Guard (DACG) uniforms, body armor, physical training clothing, caps, boots, and other Law Enforcement accessories. Organizational insignia (DA Civilian Guard patches and badges) will be s upplied from an authorized manufacturer certified by The Institute of Heraldry (TIOH) and in accordance with AR 710-2, 670-1 and AR 672-8. Local vendor must physically measure and size for approximately twenty-five (25) individuals at the unit for clothin g apparel, body armor, boots, and any other accessories as appropriate. Alterations will be required as needed for any re-sizing of any items that may require alterations. Vendor will make allowances for any size discrepancies and alterations. Sewing an d embroidery will be necessary to add on patches and DA logos and must be included in individual price for applicable items. Delivery date is approximately 30 March 2006, however, partial deliveries will be accepted. The contractor shall furnish the following supplies and quantities and deliver them to 76th Military Police Battalion, Fort Bliss, Texas: 33 - pairs duty gloves, unlined, thin, 100% leather construction, close-fitting, black; 33 - each yellow raincoats, 48 PVC vinyl with ventilated back and underarms, convenient pass through pockets, sealed seam snap-front closure, non-corrosive snaps, detachable snap-on hood, (13 with DA Police logo); 33 - each safety glasses, eye shield system, 100% UV A/UVB protection, adjustable length templates with bend-to-fit innerwire ear tab & carrying pouch with three divided lens pockets, fog repellent cloth & snap-on leash; 73 - each gear bags, 900 Denier nylon construction, large interior compartment includes an adjustable divider to customize bag, two side zippered exterior cargo pockets, three large exterior open-top pockets, two medium interior zippered pockets, reinforce d walls and padded top, nylon web handles, adjustable shoulder strap, 12H x 18-1/2 W x 7-1/2D; (will include DA Guard patch sewn on); 132  pairs pants, navy blue, 65% polyester/35% cotton, without cargo pockets; 99  each short sleeve shirts with concealed zipper, navy blue, 4.25 oz., 65% dacron polyester/35% cotton duro poplin, (shirt must match navy pant color); (will include DA Guard patch, flag, and badge tabs sewn on); 33  each tie dickies, navy, 6.75 oz., 92/8 cotton/lycra; interlined collar and cuffs, extra long tail designed to avoid pull-out (navy color must match shirt color); 99  each long sleeve shirts with concealed zipper, 4.25 oz., 65% dacron polyester/35% cotton duro poplin, (shirt must match navy pant color); (will include DA Guard patch, flag, and badge tabs sewn on). 66  each BDU bottoms, Navy, 60/40 Poly/Nylon, two cargo pockets and adjustable waist; 66  each BDU tops, Navy, 60% Cotton/40% poly twill, bellows pockets with drain holes, fused pocket flaps; 33  each sweat shirt, Navy, mid-weight, crewneck, 50% cotton/50% polyester, 8 oz.
