Description
This market survey is to determine if there would be reasonable response to set this procurement aside for Small Businesses, Small Disadvantage Businesses, Women-Owned Businesses, HUBZone Small Businesses, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Bus inesses. The procurement would consist of the construction of a 150-member Army Reserve Center(ARC)training building(approximately 29,388 SF), Organizational Maintenance Shop(OMS)(approximately 7,523 SF), and an unheated storage building(approximately 1,0 65 SF). The buildings will be permenant constructionwith reinforced concrete foundation, concrete floor slabs, structural steel frame, masonry veneer exterior walls, standing seem metal or metal shingle roofing, mechanical and electrical systems. Support ing facilities will include paving, fencing, wash rack with an oil/water separator, site improvements and extension of utilities to service the project. Force protection (physical security) measures will be incorporated into design including maximum feasi ble standoff distance from roads, parking areas, and vehicle unloading areas, berms, heavy landscaping, and bollards to prevent access when standoff distance cannot be maintained. The project is planned for advertisement in September of 2006. The estimat ed performance period is 540 days. NAICS Code is 236220. The estimated cost range is between $5-$10 Million. 20% of work shall be performed by the General Contractor.
