Description

CEDAR COUNTY, IOWA The work of this contract consists of providing all the materials, labor, tools and equipment necessary to remove lead based paint at two structures within Herbert Hoover National Historic Site, West Branch, Iowa. Work includes but is not limited to: temporary removal of window sashes, doors, and associated millwork and hardware, the in-place removal of lead-containing paint finish from window frames, door frames, exterior building elements, interior surfaces of selected millwork and associated exterior and interior millwork. The removal of lead-containing paint finishes from window sashes, doors and hardware in a contorlled environment. Finish sanding of affected millwork, windows, door frames, doors and window sashes and exdterior building elements, and repaining of affected millwork, window and door frames, doors, window sashes and building exterior. Magnitude of project: $75,000.00 to $150,000.00.
