Description

The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center,Puget Sound is soliciting for a firm fixed price supply type contract to be negotiated on sole source basis due to proprietary material with Sargent Controls and Areospace in support of Naval Intermediate Maintenance Facility Northwest. To be negotiated on a sole source basis with @@ per FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The contractor shall provide two each Sargent Controls and Aerospace Body Housings, part number 20428-002 with FOB Origin pricing. The contractor must provide FOB Point, shipping weight, method, and cost. Copies of MIL/FED specs, QPL, may be obtained from the ASSIST database on the Internet at http://assist.daps.mil. Delivery date shall be 180 days after date of contract. The commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 13 February 2006 with a closing date of 2 March 2006. The commercial solicitation will not be posted to NECO, contractor will have to respond via telephone, email, or fax. Proposed contract to be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
