Description
Solicitation No. 301816R002 The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service anticipates award of an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (ID-IQ) Contract for pre-engineered storage buildings within various locations of U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 3, which includes the following states: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illionois, Missouri, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. More than one award may be made as a result of this announcement. Resulting contract(s) will include a base period of performance and four additional option years. Work includes all labor, materials, supervision, transportation and other items necessary to install pre-fabricated, pre-engineered storage buildings. Building requirements will include both metal and wood-framed pre-engineered structures. Task Order will include a variety of trades and background: Pre-engineered metal building experience, mechanical and electrical, concrete foundation and slab work, site work, repair and remodeling. All structures will require appropriate access in accordance with the Americans Disabilities Act Accessability Guidelines (ADAAG) and Uniform Federal Accessability Standards (UFAS). The guaranteed minimum is $25,000. The contract maximum will be two (2) million/year with a contract total maximum of $10 million dollars. This procurement is issued unrestricted under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656, and is NOT set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. An approved subcontracting plan will be required prior to contract award for any large business selected. Contract(s) will be awarded to those firms representing the "Best Value" to the Government based upon 1) technical competence, 2) Quality Management, 3) Past Performance. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 236210, Industrial Building Construction, with a size standard of $23 million. Request for Proposal (RFP) packages will be available free of charge approximately March 3, 2006 with proposals due on or about April 4, 2006. Hard copy RFPs will not be mailed unless specifically requested. The RFP package will be available via electronic commerce at http://ideasec.nbc.gov and http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
