Description

U.S. Army Field Support Command (AFSC) has a requirement for approximately 16,936 each of the base canister assembly and canister metal parts assembly for the 155 MM ILLUM mortar M485 program. This will be restricted to small businesses. The solici tation shall be posted under solicitation Number W52P1J-06-R-3010 to the Army Single Face in Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business Website, http://acquisition.army.mil on or before 15 March 2006 with opening date 30 days from issuance. This will be for a b ase quantity with two 150% option quantities. Applicable NAICS code is 332993, with size standard for small business of 1500 employees. This will be a firm fixed price, competitive, Small Business Set Aside, FOB destination. First Article may or may not be required. First Article will be due 60 day s after contract award, with production quantities 60 days after first article approval. All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DOD) must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). If you are not registered in CCR, you cannot be awarded a DOD contract. You may register via the internet at http: //www.ccr.gov. You must register in ORCA at this same site. Interested firms are invited to submit Proposals after this solicitation is posted to the web. Amendments applicable to this solicitation will be posted to the web. It will be the responsibili ty of the contractors to check these websites for the issuance of this solicitation and any changes. No hard copies are available.
