Description

Idaho Panhandle National Forests, Coeur dAlene Nursery, Kootenai County, Idaho. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance in with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation AG-0281-S-06-0007 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-8. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation can be found in full text form at http://www.arnet.gov/far. The North American Industry Classification Code is 325320 Pesticide and Other Agricultural Chemical Manufacturing. One firm-fixed price contract will be awarded which is the best value to the Government, considering technical capability, past performance and price. A written quotation is requested for three (3) line items. LINE ITEM ONE 3500 LB of Basamid Granular soil fumigant, chemical name Dazomet. Need by August 1, 2006. LINE ITEM TWO 120 GAL of Roundup Pro Herbicide, Chemical name Glyphosate, need by March 27, 2006. LINE ITEM THREE 15 GAL of Trimec Classic Herbicide. Need by March 27,2006. Inspection will be made at the delivery point for conformance with specifications and quantity count. Offer will specify how material will be packaged for delivery. Required delivery to be made, by the successful offeror, to the Coeur dAlene Nursery located at 3600 Nursery Road, Coeur dAlene, ID 83815, according to the above schedule: All deliveries shall be made on regular workdays (Monday through Friday) during regular business hours (7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.), excluding official Federal Government holidays. Contractor shall notify the Coeur dAlene Nursery (208) 765-7375 a minimum of 24 hours prior to delivery. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. If the offeror has not completed the annual representations and certifications electronically at the ORCA website, the offeror shall complete only paragraphs (b) through (i) of this provision and be included with offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies to this solicitation. Specifically, the following clauses cited are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.203-6, Restrictions on Subcontractor Sales to the Government-Alt.1. FAR 52.233-4, Applicable Law for Breach of Contract Claim (Oct 2004) (Pub. L. 108-77, 108-78), FAR 52.222-3, Convict Labor (E.O. 11755).
