Description

This project shall be a commercial Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the furnishing of a Type III helicopter for Region 2 exclusive use helicopter services which shall include certification in accordance with 14 CFR FAR (Federal Aviation Regulations) Part 27, paragraph 27.143, airworthiness standards normal category rotorcraft, with demonstrated hovering controllability and maneuverability with 17 knot winds from any direction. Availability period is from approximately June 25 through September 22, 2006 at the Custer County Airport, Custer, South Dakota, Black Hills National Forest. Contract time is base year period (90 days) plus two (2) possible option years (each 90 days possible). All responsible business concerns may submit an offer which will be considered. The solicitation package is expected to be available on March 2, 2006. This is an electronic solicitation only. All documents will be posted to www.fedbizopps.gov for download from this web site exclusively. Any prospective contractor shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) in order to be eligible for award; and, in addition, prospective contractors may use the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) as a part of the proposal submission process, via the Internet at http://orca.bpn.gov/. ORCA registration requires that the prospective contractor have an active CCR record and a MPIN (Marketing Partner Identification Number). Registration in CCR immediately is recommended in order to be eligible for timely award. Registration requires a DUNS number and may take up to three weeks to process.
