Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number DG133W-06-RQ-0261 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and the provisions and clauses which are incorporated as part of this solicitation are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-08. The NAICS code for this procurement is 334220 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. This procurement is not a small business set-aside. The line items and parts being acquired are: Item 0001: fifteen each Kathrein Inc., Scala Division Part Number (P/N) 4xHDB-155 broadband half-wave dipole antenna arrays with 1 degree downtilt, 162.475 MHz, 8 dBd maximum array gain, 500-watts maximum input power rating with 50 ohm type ?N? female input connector, includes mounting hardware to affix individual antennas to Government supplied 2-3/8? OD pipe/mast [each antenna array shall consist of: four each HDB-155 broadband half-wave dipole antennas, ?N? female input connector; one each PDM4-2222/50 four-way, equal split ratio power divider (500-watt), 50 ohm type ?N? female connector all ports; and four each RFF-1/2? super flexible coax antenna feeder cables, nominal length 12 feet phased for 1 degree downtilt, with BN 87 01 57 type ?N? male connectors installed each end]; and Item 0002: fifteen each Kathrein Inc., Scala Division P/N 4xHDB-155 broadband half-wave dipole antenna arrays with 1 degree downtilt, 162.475 MHz, 8 dBd maximum array gain, 500-watts maximum input power rating with 50 ohm type ?N? female input connector, includes mounting hardware to affix individual antennas to Government supplied 2-3/8? Delivery of Item 0001 shall be made F.O.B. Destination within two months after purchase order award to National Weather Service, Central Region, 7220 NW 101st Terrace, Kansas City, Missouri 64153, Attention: Jerry Finke (telephone 816/891-7734 x441). Inspection and acceptance of Item 0001 will take place at destination. Delivery of Item 0002 shall be made F.O.B. Destination within two months after purchase order award to National Weather Service, Fort Worth Federal Center, 501 W. Felix Street, Warehouse 8, Dock 3, Fort Worth, Texas 76115, Attention: Al Ruffin (telephone 817/334-5400 x111 or cell phone 817/313-5384). Mr. Ruffin must be contacted at least two days prior to delivery so that he can make arrangements to be at the delivery location when the shipment arrives. Inspection and acceptance of Item 0002 will take place at destination. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commercial, applies to this acquisition, and there are no addenda to this provision. Award will be made based on price (provided that the quoted equipment meets the requirements of this RFQ). Offerors are not obliged to quote on all line items, and the Government may make more than one award in order to obtain the lowest price to the Government. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications, along with the offer. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions?Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition, and there are no addenda to this clause. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders?Commerical Items, applies to this acquisition, and the following additional FAR clauses cited in this clause also apply: FAR 52.222-3, FAR 52.222-19, FAR 52.222-21, FAR 52.222-26, FAR 52.222-35, FAR 52.222-36, FAR 52.222-37, FAR 52.225-3, FAR 52.225-13, and FAR 52.232-33. There are no additional contract requirements or terms and conditions applicable to this acquisition. There are no Numbered Notes applicable to this acquisition.
