Description
The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center, Honolulu, Hawaii has a requirement for quantitative analysis and scientific studies of the endangered Hawaiian Monk Seal. The successful contractor shall provide the necessary personnel, supplies and equipment to perform scientific support services under an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract. Task orders will be issued on a firm fixed price basis for work to be performed primarily at the contractor?s facility. Task orders will be issued based upon the type of work required, i.e., data analysis, simulation modeling, technical writing and report preparation, computer programming and software development, field work, and expert consultation. The period of performance will be for one (1) base year of services with two (2) additional one year option periods. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns. The current NAICS code is 541990 with a size standard of $6 million dollars. The estimated date for release of this solicitation is March 1, 2006, with a planned closing date of April, 4, 2006.
