- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; propo sals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. We have a requirement for the purchase and installation a Security/Access Control System, BRAND NAME OR EQUAL to Lenel OnGuard Version 2005 5.11.105. FOB Destination shall be Ft.Mead e, MD. The drawings, capabilities, materials, and installation required are listed on our page http://www.wsmr.army.mil/docpage/pages/sol_stat.htm . The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acq uisition Circular 2005-08 dated 05 Jan 2006. This requirement is restricted to Service- Disadvantage Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOB). The applicable NAICS code is 561621 standard size is $11.5M. Proposals shall be FOB destination. Inspection and acceptance shall be at destination. We prefer to make payment by VISA credit card. Company must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (http://www.ccr.gov/) before an award can be made to them. A Firm-Fixed Price contract will be made to t he technically acceptable, low price proposal. Contractors wishing to submit a proposals must submit clear and convincing evidence that they can provide all the above capabilities and specifications.
