Description

Furnish all labor, equipment, transportation, and supplies to provide for excavation, installation of water lines, curb stops and boxes, yard hydrants, a chlorination system, renovation of pump house, and electrical work at the James Kipp Campground located approximately 65 to 70 miles southwest of Malta, MT., in Fergus County. There are (9) line items on the schedule; (1) 5,962 LF of 2-inch Schedule 40 PVC water line; (2) five (5) connections to existing fountain; (3) twelve (12) curb stops and boxes; (4) install 3 yard hydrants; (5) plug and abandon 6 existing water lines; (6) provide for approximately 160 cubic yards of gravel aggregate; (7) furnish and install a chlorination system; (8) provide renovation to existing pump house; and (9) provide for additional electrical improvements for the Kipp Campground chlorination system. Project shall be completed within 60 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. A tentative site visit is scheduled for the week of March 20, 2006. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A 100 percent payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $25,000. Payment protection will be due PRIOR to issuance of the Notice to Proceed and can be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 237110. Recommended that prospective vendors complete their annual representations and certifications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. The solicitation will be posted during the week of March 6, 2006. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office and will be available on http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Response date for quotes will be on or about April 7, 2006. This procurement is a total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. However, ALL interested parties in a small business category may respond. If adequate interest or sufficient supporting documentation IS NOT received from a responsible and responsive Service Disabled Veteran Owned small business concern, the award may be issued as a small business set-aside without further notice or may be cancelled. Therefore, replies are encouraged from all small business entities. Small business size standard is $31.0 million.
