Description

SOLICITATION NO. 0206RQ27511 REQUEST FOR QUOTATION CLOSING DATE: 03/06/06. This is a combined synopsis/soliciation for commerical items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written soliciation will not be issued. This soliciation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-08. This acquisition is set aside for small business. The NAICS code is 333315. The size standard is 1,000 employees. The Minerals Management Service (MMS) has a need for a remanufactured Xerox DT 6135 with the need to trade in Minerals Revenue Management Xerox 5690 copier. The Xerox DT 6135 must include: 135 page per minute production print engine, a Xerox 620S scanner, capability to convert hard copy originals into digital files, compatibility with the existing network. The ability to save files on the machine server hard drives and job management and manipulation features to be used for the future are desirable options. Ability to make upgrades or changes to exisitng documents easily. The ability to install the existing Xerox 5690 imterposer component into the DT 6135 is mandatory. Remanufactured Xerox DT 6135 must be no older then five years, turn-key system to include delivery, installation, training and 60 day warranty. Prospective contractors are required to complete the provisions at entitled Offer Representations and Certifications electronically via the ORCA website at http://orca .bpn.gov. The following provisions are incorporated by reference: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commerical Items (JAN 2005), 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items (Mar 2005). Any contract or order resulting from this soliciation will contain the following clauses which are incorporated by reference: 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commericial Items (Sept 2005); 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions to implement statutes or exectutive orders (Sept 2005): 52.203-6 Alt: 52.219-8; 52-225-13; 52-233-4; 52.232-33; Commercial Items, 52-247-35 F.O.B.
