Description

The National Park Service, Department of the Interior, is requesting quotes for contractors having the capability to perform the work described below. The Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued electronically on or about March 3, 2006, on the Department of the Interior's National Business Center (NBC) website at https://ideasec.nbc.gov. Prospective quoters desiring to conduct business with DOI are requested to register at the NBC site. Quoters wishing to receive electronic notification of changes will need to register to receive notification of this specific RFQ at https://ideasec.nbc.gov. This service is provided for convenience only and does not serve as a guarantee of notification. Subscribers to this service are ultimately responsible for reviewing the website for all information relevant to this RFQ. Prospective vendors will be required to visit this website periodically to check for amendments and other changes to the contract documents. No other notifications will be sent. The work of this contract shall include, but is not limited to: Service park-owned chemical toilets, which are to be pumped, cleaned, and supplied with deodorant, toilet paper and a minimum of 5 gallons of water. Period of performance is 03/27/06 thru 9/30/06. Service 19 toilets 3 times per week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 03/27/06 thru 09/30/06. Service dates include holidays. 19 toilets x 81 pumps = 1539 pumps. Sites: Anglers (6), Swain's (5), Seneca (4), Violette's (2), Pennyfield (2). Service 3 toilets twice weekly on Monday and Friday from 03/27/06 thru 09/30/06. Service dates include holidays. 3 toilets x 54 pumps = 162 pumps. Site: Marsden Tract. Service 1 toilet once a week on Monday from 03/27/06 thru 09/30/06. Service dates include holidays. 1 toilet X 27 pumps = 27 pumps. Site: Lock 8. All refuse is to be disposed of by contractor off site. The NAICS code for this procurement is 562119. The size standard is $11.5 million.
