- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Florida Atlantic University (FAU), 777 Glades Rd, Boca Raton, Fl 33431-0991, to support Bottom Object Scanning Sonar (BOSS) operation during data collection tests and to perform image analysis of the detected buried objects. FAU is uniquely qualified to support the BOSS sensor operations during the tests and perform the image analysis since they are the original developer of the BOSS sensor suite and the analysis techniques which produce imaging data of the detected objects. All work is expected to be completed by 30 September 2006. A firm-fixed-price order is anticipated. Award will be based on the written quotation. Delivery will be to the Naval Support Activity - Panama City, Receiving Officer, Building 100, 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407-7018. The anticipated award date will be on or about February 28, 2006. NAICS Code 541330 applies. SBA Size Standard is $23M. PSC is AD90.
