- Description
- The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to solicit and award, on a full and open competitive basis, a firm fixed-price indefinite delivery/requirements type contract for MIL-C-915 cable, single conductor, armored, electromechanical for shipboard use in accordance with Salient Characteristics. A three year period of performance is anticipated. Cable shall be purchased in lengths of 33,000 feet, in quantities up to 3 lengths per year. This action is unrestricted and will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 ? Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5 ? Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 331222, with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,000 employees. The SIC code is 3315. Solicitation number N62306-06-T-1004 is being amended to reflect a change to the duration of the proposed contract and to delete the small business set-aside changing this to an unrestricted action.
