Description

The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to Freeman Marine Equipment, Inc. Gold Beach, OR under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is for eight (8) aluminum weather tight doors and frames to be mounted in a custom manufactured container as a direct replacement of the exact form, fit, and function. This action will be conducted in accordance with FAR 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The resulting contract will be firm fixed-price. NAICS Code 332999 and Business Size of 500 employees applies. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Note 22.
